He hadn’t even noticedthe fried jalapeño rings until Nicole pointed them out, a huff made when she mentioned him being scared to try them. “Girl, are you kidding me? I live for spicy food.” Since there were only two people ahead of them in line they didn’t have to wait long to get to the window and finally place their order in. Joe ordered four corn dogs, two lemonades, a funnel cake, as well as a large side order of the jalapeno rings, figuring him and Nicole could share those like they were planning to do with the funnel cake. Once he heard the amount he paid, the two taking a step to the side until everything was finished and they could grab their food. “There’s some seats right over there,” he pointed out to her the moment they stepped away from the stand.
Hearing that he was totally fine with ordering jalapeño rings, she only grinned wider and stood in line to the stand. The wait was pretty short since there weren’t many people wanting to eat. After placing their order in, they were able to look around some more, and thankfully, Joe saw some free seats not too far from them. “Let’s get these guys seated while we wait, because it’s becoming hard to keep them together”, stepping to the side, so she won’t be in a way of people, who wanted to order something, they made their way to those free seats, settling the bear, the unicorn and Moana doll into chairs to get their arms free. Looking over their handiwork, the brunette took out her phone and snapped a picture, before joining the Samoan back at the food truck to grab their food. “They look cool all together, right?”, pointing over at their prizes, Nikki picked up a plate with their funnel cake and jalapeño rings, making her way to the seats. “Well, let the feats begin!”
