If he were honest with himself, he heard but ignored the flattering whispers from his female employees. His wife heard them as well, it sparked tension between them but it only worsened over the years. He nodded his head at her preference to take a taxi and while it wasn’t traditional, nothing about this  was traditional. He smiled softly, “The entire building would love to come with me but I’m asking you because you won’t try to get in my pants at the end of the night. That much is obvious. There is one thing, Patrick Richmond, he’s a top competitor in ratings. He’ll try to pump you for information…give him something outrageous.” 

Apparently mr. Lockwood was well aware of the things, that some women were saying about him, which was something, that Nikki found quite hilarious. Her lips stretched into a smile, as she tried her hardest not to laugh, but failed. “You don’t even know what those women will do to even get near you boss”, giggling, she placed the stash of mail into his hands and moved to the coffee machine. “Richmond…. Isn’t he the one that pretty much stole the idea of that reality show from Green’s company?”, pressing the button on the machine, so it will make the right beverage, the brunette returned to her table. “I’ll make sure to blow his mind with something, that he won’t forget, promise.”
