Although they were on different brands and entirely different schedules; CJ still made time to check in with Nikki to make sure that she was doing well and the stress wasn’t getting to her. Her neck was always a concern for the blonde, but, she didn’t like to bombard the brunette with her worries about it if she landed wrong, or if it appeared as if it were bothering her. Luckily they were both in the same state for RAW and Smackdown Live so that meant she could see her - even if just for a few hours - any time was greatly appreciated. She’d found her way in the arena where the blue brand would be hosting the show and it had already begun by the time she had gone to the backstage area; she had all but asked if anyone had seen Nikki when she heard her music hit and gave a playful roll of her icy hues. “But of course she would be going to the ring when I get here.” She found a few others to sit with to watch the events unfold whilst she awaited for Nikki to get back and they could have some time to catch up.
The one downfall of the draft was that they had two separate rosters now and it was hard to spend time with those people, that you miss the most. Sure, she had seen CJ at WrestleMania, then at her wedding in Malibu, but somehow it wasn’t enough. When her injury happened, the blonde was one of those people that reached out to her first, and Nikki would never forget that. It was cute to have someone like CJ who worried about her like that. Right now she was handling her business in the ring with Nattie, which was awesome. They both wanted to work in a storyline together, plus, Nikki loved wrestling with her friend, which was an added bonus. After being “helped” to the back, the brunette was surprised to see her blonde friend waiting for her there. “Hey girl!”, wrapping her arms around the other female in a hug, Nikki couldn’t help herself but smile. “How did you get here? Not that I don’t want you here but I know that you are pretty busy with other things…”
