The one manilla envelope he’d been waiting on had finally arrived. He quickly opened it, forgetting his assistant was with him for a moment. His suspicions were right. “In fact, Ms. Garcia. Pitch the story of a cheating wife. Make it like no other.” He smiled dropping his papers into his desk drawer. Then opened another piece of his mail. “This weeks ratings are down on a couple shows, that’s not good.”

“I bet they did. After all, when the news broke about that new project, Green was ready to go to court, not that I can blame him”. Working in media business, especially an entertainment part of it was hard, with everybody doing their best to one - up the other by using the ideas, that weren’t theirs to begin with. “Cheating wife? Sounds good”, placing a cup of coffee on the table in front of her boss, Nikki took a seat in her usual chair, opening up her notebook to write some things up. “Considering that those shows weren’t aired in prime - time, I think the ratings will climb back up by the end of the week.
