He can’t help but feel happy that he’s bumped into Nicole, and without even a second thought, the words come out of his mouth with no preamble, “Would you like to go out sometime?” He asks, running his fingers through his short hair before placing his hat back on his head. He knows, of course, that she could reject him but he’s hoping she won’t.

Sami’s smile was always one of her favorite things to see, probably because that smile was full of light and happiness. Just seeing it in person made her want to smile too. His question was unexpected, simply because she never thought he would be interested in someone like her to begin with. “Are you asking me out? Like, on an actual date?”, peering from under her lashes, the brunette only nodded her head, with a soft smile on her lips. “Count me in. After all, we need to celebrate your win tonight, because I know that you will last those ten minutes.”
