While Nicole was locking up the house, Colby made his way out to the car to get in on the driver’s side, and while he waited for Nikki to join him, he went about placing the address to the doctor’s office into Google Maps since he had gotten her to mention it. It only took her a few moments to join him, but it felt like a lifetime because he was that ready to be at the doctor’s and find out as much information that he needed to about their child. There was part of him that was curious to see the sonogram pictures Nicole already had, but there was a bigger part of him that was curious as to what they were having. Did she know yet? “What’s the doctor’s name?” He asked out of curiosity. He pulled from the driveway once his seat belt was on, placing his phone down so he could hear the instructions one by one as they were read out to him. “It’s a good thing we left early,” he said once they hit the highway, easing his foot on and off the gas slowly once he hit a traffic bump. “I wasn’t expecting traffic to be this bad.”

Getting comfortable, the brunette put her seat belt on, maneuvering it around to prevent it from digging into her belly. “Her name is Samantha Grey, my mom knows her and my first check - up, when I got the news was with her, so it was bound to be her”, moving her hair to one side, Nikki turned on the air conditioning in the car, feeling herself grow hot. It was still a little weird how much her body changed with this pregnancy, and especially her habits. “Traffic here is always bad, that it why I always leave 10 to 20 minutes earlier then needed. But the views are awesome, so that is a plus. I… I am putting together a little scrapbook for the baby and… I want you to be a part of it too. There’s a page where you have to put the pictures of mom and dad when they were little, mine is already in it but I never had yours to add in. Are you fine with giving me one?”, it all was still new to them, and she wanted involve Colby more into the pregnancy from now on, so this was her best shot. “Sam said on my last appointment that if we’re lucky, the baby will let us see the gender, cause last time the little nugget showed us only his bum.”
