“I’m surprised that you’re actually engaged to John,” she whispers, biting on her lower lip, wondering, briefly, if this will stop John from being with her. Shaking her head, she looks up at her sister and smiles, squeezing her hand.
Brie’s words surprised her - she never expected to hear something like that from her sister, someone, that she always confide in when it came to John. Although, Nicole herself was still wondering if the proposal was a reality or a dream from time to time. “Trust me, sometimes I wake up and think that this ring on my finger is a myth”, squeezing her twin’s hand, she looked at her sister with a smile. “How’s things with you and Bryan?”
